New Zealand Warriors coach Matthew Elliot has taken his first step in bolstering the club's outside back division by signing Gold Coast Titans centre Dominique Peyroux.
Peyroux, 24, has signed a three-year contract which will see him return to his city of birth and represent a third NRL club.
The Cook Islands international was released by the Titans after 16 first grade matches over two seasons and has been snapped up by the Warriors after new coach Elliott said he wanted to add depth to his centre and wing options.
Earlier this week Elliott said the club would shortly announce "three or four" signings.
"I think we're a bit skinny in a couple of areas - don't lack quality, but just a little skinny."
Elliott's preference was for Simon Mannering and Ben Henry to play in the forwards next year, meaning there are gaps to fill further out.
Primarily a centre, Peyroux also spent some time on the wing for the Titans in 13 matches this year and played second row for the Cook Islands in an international against Lebanon in Sydney last month.
